Powdered chalk 0-1mm used as an additive to make clay plasters paler in colour, creamier to use and stronger.
Typically use 50% of the volume of the clay as chalk but you can use up to the same amount of chalk as clay.
For example 2 clay : 1 chalk : 5 sand by volume would be a typical mix utilising powdered chalk.
