Chopped straw with chopped hay, used as reinforcement in fibrous basecoats, floor mixes and decorative finish coats.
The addition of a small amount of chopped hay creates a greater range of fibre sizes.
In particular hay introduces thinner fibres helping the overall plaster mix entangle together and with its substrate.
